The Austin Air HealthMate Junior Air Purifier offers effective everyday filtration to remove a wide range of airborne particles, chemicals, gases and odors to improve the quality of the air in your home.  You can get the same great filtration as the Healthmate Standard, but in a smaller size. The Healthmate Junior effectively removes airborne particles such as dust, molds, pet dander, pollen and smoke elements in areas up to 700 sq ft.  Austin Air’s line of purifiers are so advanced, they are the only ones to be designated as Medical Grade Air Purifiers.  In addition, the Healthmate’s filtration system removes viruses, bacteria, chemicals and gases from the air. The HealthMate draws air in from all around the purifier, using the 360-degree air intake system. Once inside, air passes through an intensive 4 stages of filtration.  

Stage 1: Large Particle Pre-filter removes particles such as dust, hair and pet dander

Stage 2: Medium Particle Pre-filter removes small to medium size particles such as molds, spores and pollen

Stage 3: About 6.5 lbs of Activated Carbon and Zeolite absorbs and removes chemicals, gases and odors 

Stage 4: 30 sq. ft. of True Medical Grade HEPA filtration removes 99.97% of all particles larger than 0.3 microns.
